The bolz messaging

How it started

The development of this project had so many setbacks. The developer had to just very oftenly rest away from it having a work session of like once in a week. It all started as a kind simple idea for a hobby then to a school project, a friend thought on the name because the developer just cant make neutral ideas.

The making process

This project is heavely relied on with the use of cloud services, specificaly Firebase. It supports user authentication, servers and it provides the ability of the code to reach the world wide web.

The developer made it with the plain use of traditional web-develoopment use of vanilla code. Which is not the biggest challenge on the making process. The design of the web is primarily based on the logo. Which you can see as a color like magenta and marineblue. The UI/UX are inspired with popular designs from a various sources. If you're wondering what's the deal with the few of the designs, developer probably just got a little lazy.

The challenges

The biggest challenge on this project was on the learning part that requires brave experimenting, reading, and some kind of planning. Developer was very new with cloud services which also introduces the fundamentals of libraries and code compilations. All the services offered in the cloud with Firebase are very well documented, there are official forums and videos for assistance and learning, and there's AI yet It still took great timespan and being . The project was actually been very much procrastinated. I underestimated time.

Along the learning process, reading documentaions is very golden, I was not rich with that and setbacks; technical problems that got me procrastinating. For instance, I have to analyze specific the codes by revising the syntax and lines without realy testing it because I cant only it to be hosted in an SSL certified site. I can have that by deploying the entire project but it does'nt always work very well. The deployment update takes time before having the change, and that already caused me some pesimism to get off-track. The most recent problem was when it doesn't deploy. It's the problem that was most rewarding to fix since I got it the things handled better after it and my code is being updated.

In General, problems in projects may really be overwhelming but they are supposed to be there. It's natural. Despite this, we still need to push through because we can't get it done without doing anything. I have to say this to myself but: "Don't wait for the perfect conditions, or nothing will be done". Get going, keep learnig, after all, it is somewhat fun 😄.
